Photographer, Russell Smith has a BSc degree in Zoology at the University of Cape Town. After studying at the Red and Yellow school of advertising he worked as an art director at agencies both in Cape Town and Paris, including Ogilvy, DDB and Lowe Lintas. Returning to South Africa in 2002 he became a full time professional photographer, injecting his 100 percent passion into shooting everything from interiors, food and people. Shooting both on location and in his studio, Russell prides himself in his dedication to lighting and composition be it with natural light or flash.
